ABOUT
Yonat Chameides, Israeli born. Her professional life has been divided between Israel and Australia. Currently, she lives and works in Herzliya, Israel.
Graduates in Arts and Design (Ceramics) from Holmesglen Tafe Institute, Melbourne, Australia (2008-2011) and studied arts (ceramic sculpture) in “Hamidrash- Beith Berl”, an academic institute in Israel (2006), as well as art courses in other institutions.
Exhibited in Israel and overseas, including a solo exhibition - “Empty Shells”- in “BY5” Gallery in Tel-Aviv, a solo exhibition -“Between Heaven and Earth”- in “Hamivshala” - the Artists Borough in Tivon, Israel, and group exhibitions in museums and galleries.
Prior to making art her full time occupation she has been working as a lawyer in the corporate world, both in Australia and in Israel.
Board- member of the CAAI (Ceramic & Craft Artists Association of Israel).
