Applied Art - Attachments

Objects are mid-size, H 20-40 cm W 20-40 cm. 

Slabs of clay are used as a canvas, on which I paint. I cut it and join the pieces, aiming to explore the transformation of the 2D slab into a 3D object. The joining is sometimes whimsical and intuitive. 

I do not try to imitate the “perfection” of the industrial work, but rather treat each object as one of a kind. The end result is an item with double identity, functional and sculptural.
